The Group of Molecular Genetic Systems Modeling is a scientific team of the Institute of Cytology and Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences actively involved in computer modeling and the development of specialized software applications. The Group's members have developed an original generalized chemical-kinetic method for molecular genetic systems (MGSs) modeling. On basis of this method the Group has developed and is still improving an original specification standard for models, SiBML, which allows MGS constructors to be built for running of genetic engineering experiments in silico.
